Adult Jiu-Jitsu

The Gracie Barra Adult Program: From Foundation to Mastery

Our structured curriculum ensures every student has a clear path of progression, whether you are stepping on the mat for the first time or preparing for a World Championship.

GB1: The Fundamentals (16-Week Curriculum)

The journey begins here. This 16-week program focuses on the foundations of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. You will master essential self-defense scenarios, basic escapes, and core positional controls. This cycle provides the full range of BJJ basics, ensuring you build a safe and solid technical base.

GB2: Advanced Progressions

Once the foundations are set, GB2 introduces more complex sequences and increased live rolling. Here, you begin to connect the dots between techniques, developing the fluid movement and “mat IQ” necessary to take your game to the next level in a high-energy environment.

GB3: Elite & Competition

This is where our seasoned practitioners and elite athletes sharpen their skills. GB3 is home to World Champions and Pan Am Champions. If your goal is to compete, there is no better place in Houston to train. This program is designed for those seeking the highest level of technical refinement and intensity.
